Cake baking

The children had great fun this week mixing the ingredients using the electric whisk to make Mothers Day cupcakes.  They were excellent bakers!

Fun counting!

The children have been working really hard recognizing and counting to 20, using problem solving skills and addition using numicon.

Music, Missing and Maths Doubles!

In Bluefish Class this week we have been writing ‘Missing’ posters to find Little Red Riding Hood’s Granny. Have you seen her? In Music, Mrs Betley taught us a new song about Polar Bears and in Maths we have been learning how to double. Ask me about the ‘Doubling Rap’ song that we learnt!

Finally, we are loving using the Green Screen to show off some of our creations and use backdrops to transport us to other worlds! Look out for more pictures in the Green Screen Shed in our unit.

In Tunafish we have been celebrating all of the wonderful things our fantastic children at DPS can do and how they can challenge themselves next at school and at home.  Watch this space!

Forest school fun!

The children had great fun making mini beasts, dream-catchers and wiggly worms in forest school this week!  We used lots of tools and materials to create fantastic natural objects.
